Rathika Sitsabaiesan

Rathika Sitsabaiesan, born on December twenty-third, nineteen eighty-one, is a distinguished former Canadian politician, trade unionist, and community organizer. She made history as the first Tamil elected to the House of Commons, representing the Scarborough—Rouge River constituency from two thousand eleven to two thousand fifteen as a member of the New Democratic Party (NDP).
