Ray Ceresino, born on April 24, 1929, was a talented Canadian ice hockey left winger whose career spanned over a decade. He made his mark in the National Hockey League by playing twelve games for the Toronto Maple Leafs during the 1948–49 season. Following this brief stint in the NHL, Ray dedicated the remainder of his professional journey, from 1946 to 1957, to competing in the minor leagues, showcasing his skills and passion for the sport.
On June 2, 1953, Ray married Lorraine Giardetti, and their union lasted an impressive sixty-two years. Together, they built a family and raised three children, including their son Gordon Ceresino. In 1962, seeking new opportunities, Ray relocated his family to California, where they settled in Los Angeles.
In California, Ray transitioned from the ice rink to the world of finance, working as a mortgage broker. His career in this field allowed him to provide for his family and enjoy a comfortable lifestyle. Eventually, Ray retired to the beautiful city of San Diego, where he could enjoy the fruits of his labor and the warmth of the California sun.
