Raymond Collishaw

Raymond Collishaw, born on November twenty-second, nineteen hundred and ninety-three, was a prominent Canadian fighter pilot and military leader. He made his mark as a squadron leader and commanding officer in both the Royal Naval Air Service and the Royal Air Force. His remarkable skills in aerial combat earned him the title of the highest scoring RNAS flying ace, as well as the distinction of being the second highest scoring Canadian pilot during the First World War.

Collishaw was not only recognized for his exceptional flying abilities but also for his leadership qualities. He led numerous formations into battle, demonstrating a commitment to his squadron and a strategic mind that set him apart from his peers. Following the conclusion of the Great War, he transitioned to a permanent commissioned officer role within the RAF, where he continued to serve with distinction.
