Rebecca Shoichet

Rebecca Shoichet, born on February sixth, nineteen seventy-five, is a talented Canadian voice actress renowned for her work in English dubs of Japanese anime and various animated series. Relocating to Vancouver from Victoria in two thousand, she quickly made a name for herself at Ocean Productions, where she took over the role of Sota Higurashi in the beloved series Inuyasha, following Saffron Henderson's move to Los Angeles.

In addition to her work in anime, Rebecca has voiced significant characters such as Mayura Labatt in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Nana Osaki in Nana. Her versatility extends to animation, where she brings to life Sunset Shimmer and performs songs for both her and Twilight Sparkle in the acclaimed My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic series.

Beyond her voice acting career, Rebecca is an accomplished singer, having performed with local bands like Mimosa, Side One, and Soulstream. She is also actively involved in theater productions at the Vancouver Playhouse, showcasing her diverse talents in the performing arts.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Rebecca contributes to the next generation of voice actors as a part-time instructor at the On The Mic Training voice-over school in Vancouver, sharing her expertise and passion for the craft.
