Regina Jonas

Regina Jonas, born on August third, nineteen hundred and two in Berlin, was a pioneering figure in the realm of religious leadership. As a Reform rabbi, she broke barriers in a male-dominated field, becoming the first woman to be ordained as a rabbi in nineteen thirty-five. Her ordination marked a significant milestone in Jewish history, paving the way for future generations of female religious leaders.
