Rémi Sainte-Marie

Rémi Sainte-Marie, born on January eleventh, nineteen thirty-eight, is a distinguished Canadian Roman Catholic prelate whose life has been dedicated to the service of the Church.

After being ordained to the priesthood in nineteen sixty-three, he embarked on a spiritual journey that would see him rise through the ranks of the Catholic Church. His commitment to his faith and community led him to serve as the auxiliary bishop and later as the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dedza in Malawi from nineteen ninety-eight to two thousand six.

In two thousand six, Sainte-Marie was appointed as the archbishop and bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lilongwe, Malawi, a role he fulfilled with dedication until his retirement in two thousand thirteen. His leadership and pastoral care have left a lasting impact on the communities he served.
