René Gauvreau

René Gauvreau, born on December eighteenth, nineteen fifty-four, is a prominent Canadian lawyer and politician hailing from the province of Quebec. He made his mark in the political arena when he was elected to represent the riding of Groulx in the National Assembly of Quebec during the two thousand eight provincial election. Initially a member of the Parti Québécois, Gauvreau sat as an independent for a period of nine months before rejoining the PQ caucus in April two thousand twelve.

A graduate of the Université de Montréal, Gauvreau earned his law degree in nineteen eighty-seven and practiced law until his election in two thousand eight. His legal expertise and commitment to public service have been instrumental in his political career.
