Rich Gosselin, born on April twenty-fifth, nineteen fifty-six, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player known for his contributions to the World Hockey Association and the Swiss-A League. His journey in professional hockey began when he was drafted in the seventh round of the nineteen seventy-six NHL Amateur Draft by the prestigious Montreal Canadiens.

During the nineteen seventy-eight to seventy-nine WHA season, Gosselin made his mark by playing three games with the Winnipeg Jets. Following this brief stint in North America, he took his talents overseas to Switzerland, where he continued to develop his skills and contribute to the sport.

After hanging up his skates, Gosselin transitioned into coaching, taking on various roles in European leagues. In Manitoba, he made a significant impact by coaching teams such as the Eastman Midget 'AAA' Selects, South East Prairie Thunder, and the Steinbach Pistons junior hockey teams. His leadership was instrumental in guiding the Prairie Thunder to a commendable second-place finish at the two thousand nine Allan Cup.
