Richard A. Falk

Richard A. Falk, born on November thirteenth, nineteen thirty, is a distinguished American professor emeritus of international law at Princeton University. His extensive career as a human rights defender, university teacher, peace activist, and international law scholar has made significant contributions to the field of human rights and international law.

As the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, Falk has been at the forefront of advocating for human rights, particularly in the context of the Palestinian territories. His expertise and commitment to these issues were recognized in two thousand eight when he was appointed by the United Nations Human Rights Council as a Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since nineteen sixty-seven.
