He first captured the hearts of audiences in the early 1990s as Alec Ramsay, the adventurous teen horse rider in The Family Channel's beloved series, Adventures of the Black Stallion, alongside the legendary Mickey Rooney.

His voice acting career flourished with notable roles in English-language dubs of popular anime, most prominently as Inuyasha. Cox's talent also shone through in the animated series Being Ian, where he voiced the title character, Ian Kelley.
