Richard Lenski

Richard E. Lenski, born on August thirteenth, nineteen fifty-six, is a prominent American evolutionary biologist renowned for his extensive research in microbial ecology. He holds the esteemed position of John A. Hannah Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University, where he has made significant contributions to the field of evolutionary biology.

Lenski's most notable achievement is his ongoing long-term experiment with Escherichia coli, which has spanned an impressive thirty-eight years.
