Richie Kotzen

Richard Dale Kotzen Jr., born on February 3, 1970, is a multifaceted American rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter. With a prolific career spanning decades, Kotzen has released over twenty albums as a solo artist, showcasing his exceptional talent and versatility in the music industry.

His journey began with a contract at California-based Shrapnel Records, where he was signed from nineteen eighty-eight to nineteen ninety-one, and again from nineteen ninety-five to nineteen ninety-seven. During this time, he honed his craft and developed a distinctive sound that would later define his career.

Richie gained widespread recognition as a member of the glam metal band Poison from nineteen ninety-one to nineteen ninety-three, contributing to their iconic sound. He later joined Mr. Big, where he played from nineteen ninety-nine to two thousand two, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled musician.

Since two thousand twelve, Kotzen has taken on the role of frontman for the band The Winery Dogs, continuing to captivate audiences with his dynamic performances and songwriting prowess. His enduring passion for music and dedication to his craft have made him a respected figure in the rock genre.
