Rick Hampton

Rick Hampton, born on July fourteenth, nineteen fifty-six, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, he spent his formative years in King, Ontario, where he attended King City Secondary School.

Hampton embarked on his National Hockey League (NHL) journey in nineteen seventy-four with the California Golden Seals. He remained with the franchise as it transitioned to the Cleveland Barons, showcasing his skills on the ice during this pivotal time in the team's history. His career continued with the Los Angeles Kings, where he further established his presence in the league.

After the conclusion of the nineteen seventy-nine to eighty season, Hampton made the decision to leave the NHL. However, his passion for the sport led him to play several more seasons in the minor leagues. He ultimately hung up his skates after the nineteen eighty-three to eighty-four season, concluding his professional career with the Rochester Americans.
