Rick Rude

Richard Erwin Rood, born on December 7, 1958, is best known in the wrestling world as "Ravishing" Rick Rude. His career spanned from 1982 until his retirement in 1994, although he made a brief return for a final match in 1997. Rude's impressive tenure in professional wrestling saw him perform for major promotions such as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW).

Throughout his career, Rude achieved remarkable success, becoming a four-time world champion. His accolades include three reigns as the WCW International World Heavyweight Champion, one reign as the WCWA World Heavyweight Champion, one reign as the WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion, and one reign as the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion. Notably, he also competed for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, making a significant impact in the main event of SummerSlam in 1990.

In addition to his in-ring accomplishments, Rude played a pivotal role in the wrestling landscape after his retirement by managing several wrestlers. He was instrumental in the formation of the D-Generation X stable in late 1997, alongside notable figures such as Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Chyna. Rude's unique ability to bridge promotions was highlighted when he became the only individual to appear on both WWF's Raw and WCW's Monday Nitro on the same night during the Monday Night War.
