Rita Grande

Rita Grande, born on March 23, 1975, is a distinguished former tennis player from Italy, known for her remarkable achievements on the court. Throughout her career, she secured three singles titles and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour, showcasing her versatility and skill in both formats of the game.

Grande also made her mark on the ITF Women's Circuit, where she claimed one singles title and three doubles titles. Her dedication and hard work culminated in her reaching a career-high singles ranking of world No. 24 on November 5, 2001, and peaking at No. 26 in doubles on May 28, 2001.

She demonstrated her competitive spirit by advancing to the round of 16 in singles at each of the Grand Slam championships, achieving this feat consecutively at the Australian Open in two thousand one and two thousand two.
