RJ Mitte

RJ Mitte, born on August twenty-first, nineteen ninety-two, in Jackson, Mississippi, is an accomplished American actor and film producer. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the tender age of three, Mitte's journey into the world of acting began when he moved to Hollywood in two thousand six. With the guidance of a personal talent manager, he sought roles that would not only showcase his talent but also educate audiences about disabilities.

His breakthrough came with the role of Walter White Jr. in the critically acclaimed AMC series Breaking Bad, which aired from two thousand eight to two thousand thirteen. This role not only highlighted his acting prowess but also brought attention to the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. Following this success, Mitte starred in the ABC family drama Switched at Birth in two thousand fourteen and lent his voice to the Netflix animated series The Guardians of Justice in two thousand twenty-two.

In addition to his television work, Mitte has appeared in several films, including Who's Driving Doug, the thriller drama Time Share in two thousand eighteen, the independent comedy Standing Up for Sunny in two thousand nineteen, the thriller The Oak Room in two thousand twenty, and the drama Triumph in two thousand twenty-one, which he also executive produced.

Beyond his acting career, RJ Mitte is a passionate advocate for cerebral palsy and other disabilities. He serves as a spokesman for the Screen Actors Guild, representing actors with disabilities, and is a celebrity ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy.
