Robert Doornbos, born on September twenty-third, nineteen eighty-one, is a distinguished Dutch former racing driver who also held a Monégasque licence. His career in motorsport is marked by his roles as a test and third driver for prominent teams such as Jordan and Red Bull Racing in Formula One, as well as his competitive stints with Minardi and Red Bull Racing during the two thousand five and two thousand six seasons.
In two thousand seven, Doornbos transitioned to the Champ Car World Series, where he drove for Minardi Team USA in its final season.
