Robert Guéï

Robert Guéï, born on March sixteenth, nineteen forty-one, was a prominent Ivorian politician who made significant contributions to the political landscape of the Ivory Coast. He rose to prominence as the third president of the nation, serving from December twenty-fourth, nineteen ninety-nine, until October twenty-sixth, two thousand. His presidency followed a coup d'état that ousted President Henri Konan Bédié, marking a pivotal moment in Ivorian history.

During his brief tenure, Guéï faced numerous challenges, including political instability and the complexities of governance in a nation grappling with its identity.
