Robert Herjavec

Robert Herjavec, born on September 14, 1963, is a prominent Croatian-Canadian businessman and television personality known for his significant contributions to the fields of technology and entrepreneurship.

He first made his mark in the tech industry by founding BRAK Systems, a Canadian integrator of Internet security software, which he successfully sold to AT&T Canada for thirty million two hundred thousand dollars in the year 2000. This venture laid the groundwork for his future successes.

In 2003, Herjavec established The Herjavec Group, which has grown to become one of Canada's largest information technology and computer security firms, boasting over two hundred million dollars in annual revenue. His expertise and vision have positioned him as a leader in the cybersecurity landscape.

In addition to his business ventures, Herjavec is a well-known figure on television, having served as a panelist and investor on various iterations of the business reality series Dragon's Den, including the Canadian CBC series and the American ABC version, Shark Tank. As of 2023, he has also joined the Australian Network 10 version of Shark Tank.

Herjavec's achievements have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the 2012 Ernst & Young Ontario Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Technology and the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for Outstanding Service to Canada.
