Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Robert Kalina

Robert Kalina, born on June twenty-ninth, nineteen fifty-five, is a distinguished Austrian designer and graphic designer renowned for his impactful contributions to currency design.

His most notable achievement came when he created the T 382 design for the National Bank of Austria, which won the competition in nineteen ninety-six for the art featured on euro banknotes. This design was officially selected by the EMI Council on December third, nineteen ninety-six.

Initially, Kalina's designs were intended to showcase imaginary bridges; however, it was later revealed that they were based on actual bridges from the book 'Bridges - 300 Years of Defying Nature.' This discovery necessitated a redesign of his original concepts.

In addition to his work on euro banknotes, Kalina has also designed banknotes for the Azerbaijani manat, the two thousand ten series of the Syrian pound, and the highest-denomination banknote for the Bosnia and Herzegovina convertible mark in two thousand two.
