Robert Kirkman

Robert Kirkman, born on November thirtieth, nineteen seventy-eight, is a prominent American comic book writer, screenwriter, and producer. He is widely recognized for co-creating iconic series such as The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and Invincible, along with other notable works like Tech Jacket, Outcast, Oblivion Song, and Fire Power for Image Comics. His contributions to Marvel Comics include writing for Ultimate X-Men, Irredeemable Ant-Man, and Marvel Zombies, showcasing his versatility across different comic universes.

In addition to his creative endeavors, Kirkman plays a significant role in the comic book industry as one of the five partners of Image Comics, where he currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Interestingly, he is the only partner who was not one of the original co-founders, highlighting his unique position within the company.

In two thousand ten, Kirkman co-founded Skybound Entertainment, an entertainment company aimed at developing properties across various media, including comics, television, and film. Skybound also manages the licenses for The Walking Dead and Invincible, further solidifying Kirkman's influence in the entertainment landscape. The company expanded in two thousand eighteen to include Skybound Games, focusing on video game development based on its intellectual properties.

Kirkman's impact extends beyond comics into television, where he has created and produced adaptations of his works, including the series Outcast and Invincible.
