Robert Prosinečki

Robert Prosinečki, born on January twelfth, nineteen sixty-nine, is a distinguished figure in the world of football, both as a player and a coach. His journey began in West Germany, where he showcased his talent as a midfielder. Over the years, he represented two nations at the international level, first Yugoslavia and later Croatia, and is currently at the helm of the Kyrgyzstan national team.

Prosinečki's professional career took off at Red Star Belgrade, where he achieved remarkable success, winning three Yugoslav First League titles and the prestigious European Cup in nineteen ninety-one. His skills on the pitch led him to Spain, where he played for renowned clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Oviedo, and Sevilla. He later returned to Croatia, securing three league titles with Dinamo Zagreb, and also had stints in Belgium, England, and Slovenia.

On the international stage, Prosinečki's talent shone brightly as he was named the best player of the tournament during the nineteen eighty-seven FIFA World Youth Championship, contributing to Yugoslavia's victory. He also earned accolades as the Best Young Player at the nineteen ninety FIFA World Cup. Representing Croatia, he earned forty-nine caps from nineteen ninety-four to two thousand two, participating in UEFA Euro nineteen ninety-six and the World Cups of nineteen ninety-eight and two thousand two, where he played a pivotal role in securing third place in nineteen ninety-eight.

After hanging up his boots, Prosinečki transitioned into coaching, serving as an assistant manager for the Croatia national team from two thousand six to two thousand ten. He took charge of Red Star Belgrade in December two thousand ten, before moving on to manage Turkish club Kayserispor. His coaching career also includes stints with the Azerbaijan national team from two thousand fourteen to two thousand seventeen, and Bosnia and Herzegovina from two thousand eighteen to two thousand nineteen, along with returning to Kayserispor and managing Denizlispor, Olimpija Ljubljana, and Rudeš.
