From 2018 to 2021, he held the esteemed position of the 10th United States Secretary of Veterans Affairs during the first Trump administration. His leadership in this role was marked by a commitment to improving the lives of veterans across the nation.
Prior to his tenure as Secretary, Wilkie served as the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness from November 2017 to July 2018.
