Roberto Maroni

Roberto Maroni, born on March fifteenth, nineteen fifty-five, is a prominent Italian politician and lawyer hailing from Varese. He is best known for his leadership of the Northern League, a political party advocating for the autonomy and independence of Northern Italy, often referred to as Padania.

Throughout his political career, Maroni served as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Republic from nineteen ninety-two to two thousand thirteen, consistently representing Lombard constituencies. His influence extended to the national level, where he held significant positions, including Deputy Prime Minister in the Berlusconi I executive from nineteen ninety-four to nineteen ninety-five.
