Robin Wall Kimmerer

Robin Wall Kimmerer, born in nineteen fifty-three, is a distinguished Potawatomi botanist and a passionate advocate for the integration of Indigenous wisdom with Western scientific practices. As the former director of the Center for Native Peoples and the Environment at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, she has dedicated her career to exploring the intricate relationships between people and the natural world.
