Rodolph Austin

Rodolph Austin, born on June first, nineteen eighty-five, is a distinguished Jamaican professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Portmore United. Known for his tenacity on the field, Austin excels as a tough-tackling central midfielder, demonstrating versatility by also performing effectively in attacking and central midfield roles, as well as in defense.

His football journey began at Portmore United, where he achieved significant success, winning two Jamaica National Premier League titles and the CFU Club Championship. In two thousand eight, he took his talents to Norway, joining Brann, where he competed in four seasons of the Tippeligaen before making a move to Leeds United in July two thousand twelve.

During his three seasons at Leeds United, Austin made a notable impact, scoring eight goals in one hundred and one appearances and even taking on the role of captain for a brief period. His leadership and skill on the pitch have made him a key figure in the team.

On the international stage, Austin has been a stalwart for the Jamaica national team since his debut in two thousand four.
