Rojda Felat

Rojda Felat, born in 1980, is a prominent Syrian Kurdish military leader and women's rights activist. As a senior commander of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), she has been at the forefront of the Rojava conflict since its inception in 2012. Felat has played a crucial role in leading significant campaigns against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), showcasing her commitment to both military strategy and social justice.
