Rolene Strauss

Rolene Strauss, born on April 22, 1992, is a distinguished South African model, beauty pageant contestant, and physician. She gained international acclaim when she was crowned Miss South Africa in 2014, a title that paved the way for her to represent her country on the global stage.

Later that year, Strauss achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Miss World 2014 title, becoming the third South African woman to do so. This achievement placed her alongside the legendary Penelope Anne Coelen and Anneline Kriel, marking a significant moment in the history of beauty pageants in South Africa, especially as she was the first to win since the end of Apartheid.
