Rolf Løvland

Rolf Løvland, born on April nineteenth, nineteen fifty-five, is a distinguished Norwegian composer, conductor, songwriter, and record producer. His musical journey began at a remarkably young age, as he formed a band when he was just nine years old. This early passion for music laid the foundation for a prolific career in the arts.

Rolf's formal education in music took him to the Kristiansand Music Conservatory, where he honed his skills and deepened his understanding of musical composition. He later advanced his studies at the Norwegian Institute of Music in Oslo, earning a master's degree that further solidified his expertise in the field.

In collaboration with the talented Fionnuala Sherry, Rolf co-founded the Celtic-Nordic group Secret Garden. In this ensemble, he showcased his multifaceted talents as a composer, producer, and keyboardist, contributing to the unique sound that has captivated audiences worldwide.
