Romina Stefancic

Romina Stefancic is a talented athlete who has made her mark in the world of rowing and swimming. Born on July twenty-first, nineteen seventy-eight, in Slovenia, she later embraced her Canadian identity, obtaining citizenship in two thousand four. This pivotal moment allowed her to compete on an international stage, including the prestigious 2004 Summer Olympics.

Stefancic's dedication and skill culminated in a remarkable performance at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games held in Beijing, China. Competing in the women's eights, she and her teammates—Ashley Brzozowicz, Darcy Marquardt, Buffy-Lynne Williams, Jane Thornton, Sarah Bonikowsky, Andréanne Morin, Heather Mandoli, and cox Lesley Thompson-Willie—achieved an impressive fourth place finish, showcasing their strength and teamwork.
