Rosalie Bertell, born on April fourth, nineteen twenty-nine, was a remarkable Canadian-American scientist and a dedicated Catholic nun. As a member of the Grey Nuns of the Sacred Heart, she devoted her life to the intersection of faith and science, particularly in the realm of environmental health. Her career as an epidemiologist began in nineteen seventy, where she focused on the critical issues surrounding ionizing radiation.
