Rosie Stephenson-Goodknight

Rosie Stephenson-Goodknight, born on December fifth, nineteen fifty-three, is a prominent American Wikimedian and health administrator. Known by her pseudonym Rosiestep on Wikipedia, she has made significant contributions to the platform, particularly in addressing gender bias. Through her dedicated efforts, she has spearheaded initiatives aimed at enhancing the quantity and quality of biographies about women, resulting in thousands of new articles.

In recognition of her impactful work, Stephenson was honored as co-Wikipedian of the Year in two thousand sixteen. Her commitment to promoting gender equity in knowledge representation has not gone unnoticed, leading to her being awarded a Serbian knighthood in May two thousand eighteen, where she was named a Dame of the St. Sava Order of Diplomatic Pacifism.
