Ross Bekkering

Ross Bekkering, born on August nineteenth, nineteen eighty-seven, is a distinguished Canadian-Dutch former professional basketball player. He made a significant impact in the Dutch Basketball League, showcasing his talent and dedication on the court. As the younger brother of Henry Bekkering, who also pursued a career in professional basketball, Ross was inspired by a family legacy of athleticism.

Bekkering's collegiate career flourished at the University of Calgary, where he honed his skills over five years. In two thousand ten, he embarked on his professional journey in the Netherlands, joining ZZ Leiden. His rookie season was remarkable, culminating in a championship victory in the Dutch Basketball League.

Following his initial success, Ross signed with Matrixx Magixx for the subsequent season. However, he returned to ZZ Leiden after one year, where he celebrated another DBL title in two thousand thirteen. His career continued to thrive as he spent three years with league rival Donar, adding two more championships to his impressive resume before retiring in two thousand sixteen.
