Rostislav Alexeyev

Rostislav Alexeyev, born on December fifth, nineteen sixteen, was a distinguished Russian Soviet inventor, engineer, and scientist. He is best known for his groundbreaking contributions to the field of marine engineering, particularly in the design and development of hydrofoil ships and ground-effect vehicles.

As the Director and Chief of Design, Alexeyev led the way in creating innovative hydrofoil ships, with the Raketa being one of his most notable designs. His work revolutionized maritime travel, allowing vessels to glide above the water's surface, significantly increasing speed and efficiency.

In addition to his achievements in hydrofoils, Alexeyev made significant strides in the development of ground-effect vehicles. His most famous creations include the Caspian Sea Monster and the A-90 Orlyonok, which showcased his visionary approach to aviation and transportation.
