Roy Rana

Roy Rana, born on December eighth, nineteen sixty-eight, is a distinguished Canadian basketball coach currently serving as the head coach for the Jordanian national team. His coaching career is marked by significant achievements, including his tenure as the head coach for Canada's Senior Men's National Team during the 2019 FIBA World Cup Americas Qualifiers. Under his leadership, Canada achieved an impressive ten wins and two losses, securing a first-place finish in Group F and a coveted spot in the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

Rana's coaching prowess was also evident during his nine seasons at Ryerson University, now known as Toronto Metropolitan University, where he led the men's basketball team, the Ryerson Rams.
