Rubens Barrichello, born on May 23, 1972, in São Paulo, Brazil, is a distinguished racing driver and broadcaster, currently competing in the Stock Car Pro Series for Full Time Sports. Known affectionately as "Rubinho," he has made a significant mark in the world of motorsport, particularly during his illustrious career in Formula One from 1993 to 2011. Barrichello's remarkable journey includes two runner-up finishes in the World Drivers' Championship in 2002 and 2004 while driving for Ferrari, alongside an impressive tally of eleven Grand Prix victories over nineteen seasons.
Beginning his career in karting, Barrichello quickly ascended through the ranks, securing several national titles before moving to Europe in 1990. His early successes included winning the Formula Opel Lotus Euroseries and the British Formula Three Championship in 1991. After a promising rookie season in International F3000, he made his Formula One debut with Jordan in 1993, where he showcased his talent by achieving his first podium at the Pacific Grand Prix and qualifying on pole for the Belgian Grand Prix.
