Ryan Gauld, born on December 16, 1995, is a prominent Scottish professional footballer who currently serves as an attacking midfielder for Major League Soccer club Vancouver Whitecaps FC, where he also holds the captaincy. His journey in football began at Dundee United, where he played a pivotal role in leading the team to the 2014 Scottish Cup final. In July 2014, Gauld made a significant move to Portuguese club Sporting CP for a transfer fee of approximately three million pounds.
