Ryan Huska, born on July second, nineteen seventy-five, is a distinguished Canadian ice hockey coach and former player, currently serving as the head coach of the Calgary Flames in the National Hockey League (NHL). His journey in professional hockey began when he was drafted in the third round, seventy-sixth overall, by the Chicago Blackhawks during the nineteen ninety-three NHL Entry Draft.

Huska's playing career in the NHL was brief, featuring in only one game with the Blackhawks against the Calgary Flames during the nineteen ninety-seven to ninety-eight season. Despite this, he made a significant impact as a junior player with the Kamloops Blazers in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he celebrated three Memorial Cup victories in nineteen ninety-two, nineteen ninety-four, and nineteen ninety-five.

Transitioning to coaching, Huska spent several seasons as an assistant coach with the Kelowna Rockets before being appointed as the team's seventh head coach in the summer of two thousand seven. Under his leadership, the Rockets clinched the Ed Chynoweth Cup as WHL champions in two thousand nine and advanced to the Memorial Cup final, showcasing his coaching prowess.

In June of two thousand fourteen, he took the helm of the Adirondack Flames in the American Hockey League (AHL), the top affiliate of the Calgary Flames, and continued as coach when the franchise relocated to Stockton in two thousand fifteen. His expertise was recognized when he joined the Calgary Flames as an assistant coach in two thousand eighteen, culminating in his appointment as head coach on June twelfth, twenty twenty-three, succeeding Darryl Sutter.
