Ryan Lochte, born on August 3, 1984, is a distinguished American former competition swimmer, celebrated for his remarkable achievements in the pool. With a total of twelve Olympic medals to his name, he ranks as the third-most decorated swimmer in Olympic history, trailing only the legendary Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky. Lochte's prowess is particularly evident in his seven individual Olympic medals, which place him second in men's swimming history, a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication.

Lochte's illustrious career is marked by numerous accolades, including the prestigious SwimSwam's Swammy Award for U.S. Male Swimmer of the Year in 2013, as well as the World Swimmer of the Year Award.
