Ryan Mason, born on June thirteenth, nineteen ninety-one, is an accomplished English football coach and former professional player. He began his journey in football at Tottenham Hotspur, where he progressed through the youth ranks and made his first team debut in two thousand eight. Over the years, Mason gained valuable experience through loan spells at various clubs, including Yeovil Town, Doncaster Rovers, Millwall, Lorient, and Swindon Town, before making his Premier League debut for Tottenham in two thousand fourteen.
After establishing himself within the Tottenham first team, Mason earned his first international cap for England in March two thousand fifteen. His career took a significant turn in two thousand sixteen when he transferred to Hull City for a club record fee. Unfortunately, his time at Hull was marred by a serious injury; he suffered a fractured skull in January two thousand seventeen during a match against Chelsea. Following extensive treatment and medical advice, Mason made the difficult decision to retire from professional football in February two thousand eighteen.
Transitioning from player to coach, Mason took on the role of interim head coach at Tottenham in both two thousand twenty-one and two thousand twenty-three, making history as the youngest coach in Premier League history at the age of twenty-nine. In June two thousand twenty-five, he was appointed head coach of West Bromwich Albion, but his tenure was cut short when he was sacked in January two thousand twenty-six.
