Ryane Clowe

Ryane Clowe, born on September 30, 1982, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. His career in the National Hockey League (NHL) spanned several teams, including the San Jose Sharks, New York Rangers, and New Jersey Devils. Clowe was drafted by the Sharks in the sixth round, being the one hundred seventy-fifth overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, marking the beginning of a notable journey in professional hockey.

After retiring from playing, Clowe transitioned into coaching, taking the helm as the head coach of the ECHL's Newfoundland Growlers in 2018. However, he stepped down from this role in January 2019. His expertise in the sport led him to serve as a hockey advisor for the New York Rangers from the 2021-22 season through the 2023-24 season, showcasing his continued commitment to the game.

In a significant career move, Clowe was appointed as the assistant general manager of the San Jose Sharks on July 3, 2024. Unfortunately, he resigned from this position on September 7, 2025, after just one season, citing family reasons. The very next day, he rejoined the New York Rangers as an assistant general manager, marking his return to the East Coast and further solidifying his legacy in the NHL.
