Sa'id ibn Zayd

Sa'id ibn Zayd, born in the year five hundred ninety-three, was a prominent figure in early Islamic history. He was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad and is well-remembered for his close relationship with Umar, who was his brother-in-law. This connection placed Sa'id in a significant position during the formative years of the Islamic community.

Known by his kunya, Abūʾl-Aʿwar, which translates to 'Father of the One-Eyed,' Sa'id was described as a tall, hairy, and dark-skinned man. His physical presence was notable, and he was respected among his peers for both his character and contributions to the early Muslim society.
