D'Angelo's soccer journey began at the collegiate level with the South Carolina Gamecocks, where her impressive performance led to her selection as the twenty-first overall pick in the 2015 NWSL College Draft by the Western New York Flash. Her remarkable contributions were highlighted during the 2016 NWSL Championship, where she was named MVP after executing three crucial saves in the penalty shoot-out.

In the following year, the Flash transitioned to become the North Carolina Courage, where D'Angelo continued to excel, helping the team secure two NWSL Shields and another Championship. In two thousand nineteen, she embarked on a four-year adventure with Swedish club Vittsjö GIK before making her mark in the Women's Super League, first with Arsenal and subsequently with Aston Villa.
