Sakis Rouvas

Anastasios "Sakis" Rouvas, born on January 5, 1972, in Corfu, Greece, is a multifaceted talent known for his contributions as a singer, actor, businessman, and former pole vaulter. He began his athletic career as a member of Greece’s U18 national athletics team in the 1980s before transitioning to the music industry, where he achieved remarkable success.

Rouvas burst onto the music scene in 1991 with his debut album, quickly establishing himself as one of Greece's leading musical figures. Over the years, he has released fourteen studio albums, with many achieving platinum status. His entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, titled "Shake It," became one of the best-selling CD singles in Greece, further solidifying his place in the music industry.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Rouvas has made significant strides in acting, television presenting, and business. His impressive career has earned him numerous accolades, including six Arion Music Awards, fifteen Pop Corn Music Awards, and twenty-six MAD Video Music Awards, among others.
