Salman Khan

Salman Khan, born on December 27, 1965, is a prominent Indian actor, film producer, and television personality, primarily recognized for his work in Hindi cinema. With a career that spans over three decades, he has garnered significant acclaim, including two National Film Awards as a producer and two Filmfare Awards as an actor. His popularity and commercial success have made him one of the most celebrated figures in Indian cinema, with Forbes listing him among the highest-paid celebrities globally in both 2015 and 2018.

Khan's journey in the film industry began with a supporting role in the 1988 film Biwi Ho To Aisi. However, it was his leading role in Sooraj Barjatya's romantic drama Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989 that marked his breakthrough, earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He solidified his status with a string of successful films, including Saajan (1991), Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), and the action-packed Karan Arjun (1995), among others. Despite facing a decline in the 2000s, he made a remarkable comeback with the action film Wanted in 2009.
