Sam Vokes

Sam Vokes, born on October twenty-first, nineteen eighty-nine, is a professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for EFL League Two club Gillingham. His journey in football began at AFC Bournemouth in League One, where he made his debut in two thousand six, showcasing his talent and earning a move to Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

During his time at Wolves, Vokes played a crucial role in their promotion to the Premier League in his first season. However, his four-year stint at the club saw him make only fifty-nine appearances, as he spent time on loan at six different clubs. In two thousand twelve, he transferred to Burnley, where he truly flourished, making two hundred fifty-eight appearances and scoring sixty-two goals, contributing to two promotions to the Premier League.
