Samvel Shahramanyan

Samvel Shahramanyan, born on December first, nineteen seventy-eight, is a prominent Armenian politician who has made significant contributions to the Republic of Artsakh. He ascended to the role of the fifth president of the Republic of Artsakh on September tenth, twenty twenty-three, marking a pivotal moment in his political career.

Prior to his presidency, Shahramanyan held various key positions within the government, including serving as the State Minister from August to September twenty twenty-three. His leadership extended beyond this role, as he was also the Minister of Military Patriotic Upbringing, Youth, Sports and Tourism, and the Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh.

In addition to his political roles, Shahramanyan has a distinguished military background, holding the rank of Major General in the Artsakh Defence Army. His commitment to the nation was further exemplified when he led the Republic of Artsakh government in exile until May twenty-one, twenty twenty-five, showcasing his dedication to the Armenian cause.
