Sandra Bezic

Sandra Bezic, born on April sixth, nineteen fifty-six, is a distinguished Canadian figure skater, choreographer, and coach. Her remarkable journey in the world of figure skating began with her brother, Val Bezic, as they formed a dynamic pair that captivated audiences across Canada.

From nineteen seventy to nineteen seventy-four, the Bezic siblings dominated the Canadian Figure Skating Championships, securing the title for four consecutive years. Their talent and hard work culminated in a notable performance at the nineteen seventy-two Winter Olympics, where they achieved a commendable ninth place.

Beyond her competitive achievements, Sandra has made significant contributions to the sport as a choreographer and coach, shaping the careers of many aspiring skaters. Her expertise and creativity have left an indelible mark on figure skating.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the sport, Skate Canada announced on July fourteenth, two thousand ten, that Sandra Bezic would be inducted into the Skate Canada Hall of Fame in the professional category, celebrating her legacy in figure skating.
