Sandra Couture

Sandra Couture, born on March fifteenth, nineteen eighty-three, is a distinguished Canadian soccer player known for her remarkable skills as a striker. She made her mark in the world of football while playing for the French club Juvisy in the Division 1 Féminine, a journey that began when she joined the team ahead of the 2009–10 season.

Before her time in France, Couture had an illustrious career at the Université de Montréal, where she played for the Montreal Carabins from two thousand two to two thousand six. During her tenure, she set a team record by scoring fifty-two goals, earning the title of Player of the Year once and securing a spot on the All-Canadian First Team on two occasions.

In addition to her playing career, Couture also contributed to the development of young athletes as an assistant coach at the university. Her journey was not without challenges, as previous injuries had delayed her opportunities to fully embrace her club career in France.

While she has not represented Canada at the international level, Couture proudly represented her nation at the Summer Universiade in both two thousand five and two thousand seven, showcasing her talent on a global stage.
