Sandra Reemer

Sandra Reemer, born on October seventeenth, nineteen fifty, was a celebrated Indo-Dutch singer and television presenter. With a vibrant career that spanned several decades, she became a household name in the Netherlands, particularly known for her remarkable contributions to the Eurovision Song Contest.

Reemer represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest on three occasions, tying with Corry Brokken for the most appearances for the country. Her first appearance in nineteen seventy-two featured a duet with Dries Holten, where they performed the song 'Als het om de liefde gaat,' securing a commendable fourth place. In nineteen seventy-six, she showcased her talent as a solo artist with 'The Party's Over,' which earned her a ninth-place finish. By nineteen seventy-nine, she was credited as 'Xandra' and sang 'Colorado,' which placed twelfth.

Beyond her musical endeavors, Sandra Reemer made significant contributions to Dutch television, co-hosting popular shows such as Sterrenslag, Wedden, dat..?, and Showmasters. Her charisma and charm captivated audiences, making her a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.

Sadly, Sandra Reemer passed away on June sixth, two thousand seventeen, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer, leaving behind a legacy of talent and inspiration.
